about

STATEMENT
We, as artists, musicians and label, stand with the people of Palestine. We demand an immediate-permanent ceasefire and firmly condemn the crimes of genocide perpetrated by the criminal colonialist oppressors against the Palestinians.

This album serves as a resolute statement of solidarity, aimed at raising awareness about the ongoing atrocities and the enduring 75-year occupation of Palestine.

ABOUT THE MUSIC
The music featured in LIFT THE SIEGE transcends specific genre classifications, instead converging under an experimental and granular aesthetic. Shifting from textured techno to haunting ambiences, the overall tone evokes nightly visions, earthly forces, and boundless depths. Despite the prevailing spacious atmosphere, the album's narrative explores a realm far from emptiness; it delves into the dimensions of pressure, resonance, and presence – echoes of communal actions. Each piece reverberates in conjunction with others, forming a complex compilation of diverse electronic explorations.

The compilation opens with an evocative soundscape from Palestinian artist 1800s Internet, setting the tone for more abstract contributions like the electroacoustic-leaning works of Junispec and Arixebo, the experimentalism of Keru Not Ever and Racine, or the rich sonic tapestry woven by the multifaceted Orchestroll.

Conversely, the music of Isabel Soto, MPHS, Measure Divide, Hedon, and S. Chioini provide intense rhythmic, movement-infusing sections, while Feu St-Antoine, Eƨƨe Ran and Kwarp delve into deep, ambient, and downtempo territories.

Every sale of the album will help connect Gaza by enabling the purchase and delivery of an eSim card. The size of the contributions will determine the amount of data provided.
